When a human has the flu we know what to expect, body aches, coughing, sneezing and we can complain about how awful we feel. While your dog can't tell you how it's feeling there are signs of the flu to look for.
If your dog is in contact with lots of other dogs on a regular basis you might want to consider getting them vaccinated. The flu is contagious and the virus can live on surfaces long enough to infect your pet.
The good news is protection from this nasty virus is just a vaccination away.
When it's time for your dogs next vet visit, ask about the canine influenza vaccine and always talk to your vet about any health issues your dog may be having.
