Avon Barns Destroyed by Fire
Fire investigators believe lightning sparked a barn fire in Livingston County.

It happened on the Mulligan Dairy Farm property on Barber Road in Avon.
Fire crews contained the blaze to a three-barn complex on the property.
"We're amazed that everything around it is still standing. That was one of our main goals to keep everything else, cause we knew we couldn't save the barn," said Tim Holtz, East Avon Fire Department.
There have been no injuries reported. Holtz said it took crews 45 minutes to an hour to put out the fire.
