Vietnam Veterans Send Care Packages Overseas
The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 20, is making a list of soldiers on active duty so they can send them care packages to enjoy.

This is the fourth year the vets have mailed boxes to troops. The boxes are filled with goodies like snacks, donated Girl Scout cookies and letters written by kids in the Greece Central School District.

“So when they get something from home, whether a letter or a box, it means something to them. We get a lot of letters back from them, saying they appreciate it and can’t believe they got it,” said Ken Moore, president of Vietnam Veterans of America’s Chapter 20.

If you would like to send in a name of a soldier in combat, you can mail their name and military address to:

P.O. Box 12580
Rochester, NY 14612

Care packages will be sent out in January.
