Bill Cosby Performs at Auditorium Theatre
Legendary actor and comedian Bill Cosby was back in Rochester this weekend. Cosby performed two shows at the Auditorium Theatre dressed in Rochester duds that were obviously new.

Cosby told both crowds of more than 2,000 that he wanted his show to feel like he was sitting in their living room just having a candid conversation. In the 1980s, Cosby produced and starred in the sitcom the Cosby show. It's considered one of the defining sitcoms of the decade.

Cosby's show highlighted the experiences and growth of an upper-middle class, African-American family. Denis Johnson of Rochester saw Cosby when he was last in Rochester four years ago and said he had to come back for more.

"He was just a great role model. An educated African-American man who is extremely funny, and he has funny things to say and he has great things to say for this society, too," said Johnson.

Over the years, the man nicknamed "America's Dad" endorsed a number of products including JELL-O pudding, and Kodak film.
