It started with a son asking his mom for help. While serving in the military overseas he wanted to send his girlfriend back home something special. Now it's a fundraising effort with close to 600 requests.

Vickie Durfee helped her son, and now she's helping others. She started the organization called "Full Circle Home," sending 12 days of gifts for hundreds of military wives and mothers.

"We're supporting the women, we're supporting the men. We're supporting us here at home. And this feeds me. It just...I think if everyone did the little bit that they could do we could all make a huge difference," said Durfee.

A team of volunteers is helping put the gifts together, wrapping them up and getting them shipped to women across the country.
