R Caring Gifts

The 2008 Volunteers of America R Caring Gifts campaign is entering the home stretch.

The VOA has so much to offer but needs more help so it can keep on giving.

The R Caring Gifts goal by the end of December is $80-thousand to help fund programs and services. Today, the VOA has $50-thousand of that goal.

Melinda Doyle at the VOA says even small contributions can go a long way. "$75 will feed a family for a week; $25 will buy someone who is looking for a job an outfit for an interview. So there's a whole list of things you can do to help and each dollar means a great deal to someone in need."
