A Rochester man has developed what he calls the world's newest music teaching device.
Andy Willoughby created Chordteacher as a simpler way for people to learn to play, write, and appreciate music. The idea took nine years to become a product Willoughby hopes to sell.

During that time Willoughby made another important discovery. He applied math to music in a way never attempted before resulting in what he calls a revolutionary way to define the properties of harmony.
During the summer Willoughby makes himself available to explain Chordteacher every Monday at 6 p.m., weather permitting, at Bethel Christian Fellowship on East Avenue.
