Penfield Beats Most of State Before Elimination in FIRST Finals
This weekend, FIRST Robotic teams from all over the country, including 6 from our area, traveled to Atlanta to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition Finals.
YNN Rochester and Time Warner Cable are working to "Connect a Million Minds."
It's a nationwide effort to focus kids on science, technology, engineering, and math. A great example is the FIRST Robotics Competition.
The championships in Atlanta Georgia were going on this weekend and several teams from the Rochester area were in attendance, including Naples, Webster Schroeder, and Penfield.
Team 15-11 from Penfield, also known as the Rolling Thunder outlasted almost all of the teams from the rest of the state before they were eliminated.
