A V.I.P preview party Monday night gave folks an opportunity to view all 117 benches that will be parading around Rochester this summer.

The benches are specially painted for local not-for-profit organizations and will placed in front of their designated spots later this week.

"It's huge to be a part of this event, being an artist. And when you look around and see all of these benches, and actually see everyone else's work, and actually be a part of everyone else's work, it's amazing. And it's such a celebration throughout the summer," said Artist Greg Polisseni.

The benches will be on parade beginning Wednesday, May 12 through August.
