Karen says she is planning to retire, but still has to work things out with school and state officials. She said when she does, she hopes to work in the community; possibly in a suicide prevention program.

In the meantime, Karen said she has three trips planned. Anderson Cooper is paying for her to go to Disneyland at the end of August. Country music star Tim McGraw is flying her to New Orleans to see one of his shows, and she is also receiving a Disney Cruise from an anonymous donor.

As for the fundraising site that raised money for a vacation for Karen, with four days left before closing, it sits at more than $682,000.
