280 Soldiers Welcomed Home at Fort Drum
A ceremony was held Tuesday night at Fort Drum in Northern New York to celebrate the return of a group of soldiers.
Friends and family welcomed home 280 soldiers from the Third Brigade.
These men and women spent the last year working with Afghan National Security Forces in Afghanistan.
For many this was just one of several deployments and they are happy to be back home safe. Soldiers say they are looking forward to enjoying life back at home.
The rest of the Spartan Brigade is expected home later this month.
