35 More Generic Prescription Drugs to Become Available
Excellus BlueCross BlueShield announced Tuesday that 35 more generic prescription drugs will become available between 2012 and 2013.
The generic drugs will offer Upstate New York more than $700 million dollars in annual savings.
Examples of drugs on the list include Plavix, Singulair, and Cymbalta.
Reports show that more than 529,000 upstate New Yorkers use the 35 brand name drugs that will soon offer generic alternatives.
