Some Rochester City School District students did their part in giving back to the community.
The kids from Henry Hudson School Number 28 planted trees and shrubs in the High Falls area near RG&E's Electric Hydro Station Number 2.
The students in grades four and six also released butterflies in the area.
"It kind of gives kids an idea that they can help even though they are only nine or 10 years old, they can make a difference," said Linda Antonio, Henry Hudson School teacher.
This is the second year the kids at School 28 have helped spruce up an area of Rochester.
