"It's been devastating for my parents," the victim's brother, Kevin Reed said.

But the mood changed shortly after Keith Reed was laid to rest, as news began to filter in.

"My mother especially is elated that this man was caught," his brother said. "It just uplifts us a little bit to know that justice now will be kneaded out."

Anthony Robert Taglianetti II, the man investigators believe shot and killed Reed, was picked up by U.S. Marshals on Friday afternoon. He was caught near Shenandoah Valley National Park in Virginia.

"They saw the suspects vehicle traveling down a road, recognized it, pulled it over and took the suspect into custody," Chautauqua County Sheriff Joe Gerace said.

Kevin Reed said his family is happy Taglianetti hadn't killed himself.

"When he's interviewed, we'll find out exactly what happened with my brother's murder," Reed said.

Reed hoped Taglianetti will provide details, giving the family closure, at least to a point.

"You can't ask evil for a logical explanation of why it does what it does," he said. "This man is evil."

He said so much has happened since the body of his brother was found Monday, reality hasn't quite set in.

"It'll hit me some time this week," he said. "Opening day of archery season is Monday and I fully expect to sit in my deer stand and cry my eyes out. But right now I just don't have the time to do that."

The Chautauqua County District Attorney said Taglianetti faces a charge of second degree murder pending extradition. The timeline for that depends upon whether he fights extradition.
