The Rochester Museum and Science center played host to the second "Go Green" event Wednesday. The event showcases area companies focused on green energy, technology and initiatives.

One company, Jacomb Lighting, specializes in LED lighting and claims it can help schools, hospitals, and other facilities cut down on energy bills by almost 70-percent. There are incentives out there to help pay for the projects.

"There are large incentives through the local utility and federal government and what we do is help the customer find those incentives," said Bill Gauthier, Jacomb president. "So our goal is to make sure that every job that we do has a return on investment in three years or less, and some of these incentives that are available actually help pay for 50 percent of the total cost of the job."

Jacomb used this event to help launch their company. About 400 people came out to the event.
