It was a dream come true for some new residents in Hilton.
Matco Builders and Developers presented the keys Tuesday to a new dream house to the Christopher Peer family.
The 2,100 square foot home was auctioned off as part of a fundraiser to benefit the Northwest and Westside YMCA Youth Campaigns.
Construction on the colonial style home began in March. Bidding began in May, and the home was auctioned off for $209,000.
Tuesday, the Peers have their dream home, and the good feeling from helping others.
"It's been very exciting, because it's a win-win situation for everybody. The Y does well because they get the proceeds from the house, the builder gets the thrill of being able to give back to the community, and the homeowner gets the house for a little bit less than they would usually pay," said Will Gallagher, YMCA.
It's the third year of the YMCA fundraiser.
