Art-Abilities Show Honors Creative Batavia Boy
A creative 6th grader known as "Hammering Hank" got to show off his art at Genesee County ARC's second annual "Celebrating Art-Abilities" show in Batavia Thursday.

Henry James Stratton II, is an 11 year-old with autism who likes to invent and create art. The art show, in honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness month, featured Hank's pictures. This is art that has traveled across New York State.

"I like drawing the best with the markers and stuff," Hank said. When asked why, he said "I don't know - I guess it looks bright and exciting. I guess it just makes me happy."

Hank would also like to make a comic book. He says he wants to be like Benjamin Franklin and invent things that change people's lives.
