Two women, with one vision, began their business in Rochester 11 years ago. They had no costumers, but a lot perseverance.
Now, their business is booming. Jackie Ciresi and partner Julie St. Germain co-own "Signs Now."
"We do everything from vehicle graphics, to banners to marketing materials. We're really more a marketing partner for customers than we are a sign company," said Ciresi.
The pair said they decided to move from another sign company in Michigan and start their own business from the ground up.
They picked Rochester hoping they could settle into a community that supports small businesses, and women, seeing as "Signs Now" is entirely owned and operated by them.
“Signs Now” said developing technology has helped them grow, they used to work solely with cut vinyl graphics, now they're printing lighted dimensional signs and vehicle wraps.
Personal relationships are what the company prides itself on.
"I think for me personally it's the customer contact, it's that sort of day to day thing, but it's also cool if you're driving around and a vehicle goes by with graphics on it and you say 'hey we did that,'" Ciresi said.
