Supermarket refrigerators are full of vitamin waters, but the local creators of Karma Wellness Water contend that none compare with theirs.
The company figured out an innovative way to keep the vitamins in its wellness water from losing potency.
"The vitamins and nutrients are kept separate in the cap, from the fresh spring water. So, all you have to do prior to drinking is peel, push, and shake," said Darren Coon, Karma Culture, LLC Chief Technical Officer.
"It's actually turning your water into wellness," said Shanna Baccari, Karma Wellness Water.
Darren Coon did a global search to find a manufacturer that could mass produce Karma Wellness Water's one of a kind cap. That search brought him home.
"The Rochester companies were the most capable and the most ambitious. This was not an easy technology to produce. It actually involved revolutionary molding technologies. A company in Rochester here, Valtec, conquered those challenges and that's actually where we will be producing and assembling these caps," said Coon.
Rochester-based companies will also handle the packaging and distribution of Karma Wellness Water.
"We have five functional varieties and I say functional because they have a specific purpose. So all of them have 110% of Vitamin A, B3, B6, B12, D and E. Each of them do, and then, on top of that, all of our five varieties, and our functional varieties, they have different added vitamins for a specific purpose," said Baccari.
With only 20 calories per bottle and 3 grams of sugar, Karma Culture, LLC believes this product will shake up the wellness water segment.
