Web Site Offers Resources for Small Business Owners
New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli said a new section of a state web site can help New Yorkers interested in getting a small business off the ground.
Your Money New York gives people tips on starting a new business including what permits are needed, tax information and tips on surviving tough economic times.
DiNapoli said small businesses are essential to the state, providing half of all private sector jobs and creating nearly 70 percent of all new jobs over the last decade.
The site went online last year, but the new small business section was created to help with everything from how to write a business plan to marketing a new business.
