The Center for Disability Rights has named Chris Hilderbrant its first chief operating officer.

Leaders say as COO, Hilderbrant will manage all of Rochester's internal operations for the center's Rochester, Corning, Albany and Geneva offices.

Hilderbrant has served as the directory of advocacy since 2003.
