U of R Research Funding Reaches Record Level
The University of Rochester reported a record level of research funding this year.
U of R research funding increased 18 percent this year to $415 million. That is double what the university received 11 years ago.
University of Rochester President Joel Seligman said it is a testament to strategic investments in research infrastructure made by the institution with public and private support.
Funding increased across the board from federal agencies including the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and the Department of Energy.
