Eastman Kodak Suing Apple
Eastman Kodak is suing Apple and one of Apple's former subsidiaries over ten digital imaging patents that all of the companies are laying claim to.
Kodak filed the motion Monday. The company says Apple's and FlashPoint's claim on the patents are holding up its attempt to sell off its digital imaging portfolio of more than 1,100 patents.
Kodak wanted to move quickly to sell off the patents by August as the company moves through Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Kodak says the claims by Apple and FlashPoint are baseless.
