You can soon get an inside view of some Rochester businesses, just by looking at Google maps.

The Rochester Business Alliance says the street view on Google Maps will let users virtually walk through the front door and look around inside participating businesses. There is a one-time publishing fee to participate in the program, dependent upon the extent of the photo shoot.

A Google photographer starts outside the business to capture a series of 360 degree image viewpoints, and keeps going inside the business.

So far, The Inn on Broadway, Tapas 177, Fox Run Vineyards, and the Victor Distillery are already set up with the program. The RBA is excited to get more businesses involved.
