Daikin McQuay to Close Auburn Factory
A major employer in Cayuga County is leaving. The Daikin McQuay factory in Auburn says it will close by December of 2014.
A company spokesperson tells YNN the company is moving production to a Tennessee facility.
Daikin McQuay manufactures heating and ventilation equipment.
The spokesperson wouldn't give a specific numbers of layoffs, but hundreds of people work at the plant.
