City Seeks Proposals for Vacant Building Next to Midtown Project
The City of Rochester has issued a request for proposals for the purchase and redevelopment of a vacant building next to the Midtown project.
The City of Rochester is seeking proposals from development teams for the property located at 88 through 94 Elm Street. The property is a vacant 83,000 square foot, 13-story steel and concrete structure.
The city has replaced its roof and removed asbestos, with the goal of renovating and reusing the structure in a way that encourages investment in the neighborhood, while being compatible with the surrounding development.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 20.
