The final push is on for the biggest fundraiser of the year for a local Boy Scout troop.

Troop 19, also known as the Tay House, is wrapping up its annual Christmas tree sale on the campus of Asbury First United Methodist Church at Granger Place and East Avenue.

With only about 20 percent of its tree stock remaining the Boy Scout troop is offering a special deal to some people who may still be in the market for a fir tree and a chance to help the troop.

"We're getting down to the last of our trees and the last few days before Christmas so we would like to offer anyone watching this on YNN an additional $10 off if you come in and say you saw it on YNN we'll take $10 dollars off your tree," Troop 19 spokesperson Mark Soule said.

Money from the tree sale helps fund the Troop 19’s activities throughout the year.

The sale runs from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Christmas Eve, or as long as trees last.
