Igelesia Educational Centers is teaming up with NBA star Stephon Marbury to help some city of Rochester students.
They are helping students focus on all levels of their education, from wellness to academics and athletics.
Marbury helped the students develop a regiment.
"Eighty percent of our students are below the poverty level in Rochester. So for Stephon and his organization to take on this initiative, this is a blessing for Iglesia and the city of Rochester," said Karen Iglesia, CEO of Iglesia Educational Centers.
Marbury said the goal is to provide the students with a learning environment.
