Fidelis to Help Uninsured Next Week
If you don't have health insurance, you may be able to sign up for free or low-cost care next week.
It's known as 'Uninsured Week in Rochester.' Fidelis Care is going to be at several locations to give out information and sign people up for Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus or Medicaid Managed Care.
"Any New York State resident who is uninsured is eligible if they meet the income requirements," said Laura Mongeon of Fidelis. "Fidelis Care is the largest government program health plan in New York State. We have over 580,000 members in more than 50 countries."
Fidelis will be at:
--Anthony Jordan Health Center Monday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
--Catholic Family Center Monday, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
--Promotores de Salud Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
--St. Andrews Food Cupboard Friday from 9:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m.
