Some of the best barbequers in the region pulled an all-nighter to slow rub, slow cook and smoke the best tasting barbeque.
It was all part of the
Roc City Rib Fest in Charlotte.
YNN Photojournalist Kurt Mueller hung out with some of the pitmasters overnight.
There was $15,000 in prize money at stake for the competitors.
Regal Barbeque took home the top prize with BBQHog.com and IQUE close behind in second and third place respectively.
