Family, fun, and fellowship are the objectives of a community wide festival on Joseph Avenue.

The Simmon's Youth Enrichment Center had a party for young people Saturday. The festival included carnival games, horse rides, and community resource booths. This is the first Youth Enrichment Festival put on by the Upper Room Family Worship Center.

"Our church emphasizes family, and we just want to bring the family out here to show them a good time and have a little worship going on," said Kanellia Cooper, event coordinator.

The event was free and open for anyone to attend.
