Rochester Public Market to Host Women's Health Screening Fair
The City of Rochester and the University of Rochester Medical Center are sponsoring the second annual Women’s Health Screening Fair at the Rochester Public Market.

Women age 18 and older are invited to take advantage of more than 18 different health groups offering screenings that include heart, bone, lead exposure, skin cancer and stress evaluations.

Last year, more than 300 women turned out.

"This is free to the public. Let me repeat that. This is free and a way we are reaching out into the community and bring to them this wide range of health services," said James Woods, Jr., MD of the URMC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The Women's Health Screening fair is next Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union Street.
