This is the second year the two teams worked together for the packing party. For one player whose brother is serving overseas, the response from the troops last year gave him motivation to put together care packages this year.

“We knew that from last years experience the troops really appreciate this so we thought it would be a good idea to do it annually and I think that's what we are going to do,” says Jeff Kay, Pittsford Sutherland Senior.

Jeff's brother, who is a Marine, is a former Sutherland baseball player serving in Afghanistan. Jeff says his brother would be proud to see everyone working together to send the care packages.
