The Village of Pittsford's Board of Trustees met with developers Tuesday to review changes to 75 Monroe Avenue, a mixed-use development plan.
The public hearing was held to review the possible amendments to the regulating plan approved in December.
Pittsford Canalside Properties said an approval would allow them to reconfigure and upgrade the proposed buildings while keeping the best parts of the old plan. The goal of the changes was to remove commercial traffic and better match the style of the area.
There were, however, plenty of questions and some opposition to the new plan.
"If there is not a resolution soon, then we're prepared just to proceed with the plan that's already approved. However, the plan that's already approved isn't as good as the current plan," said Christopher DiMarzo, Pittsford Canalside Properties.
The Pittsford Planning and Zoning Board said that the plan presented Tuesday isn't meant to be final, but more of a preliminary layout.
