An Orleans County woman was airlifted to the hospital after a crash in the Town of Carlton Saturday evening.
Orleans County Sheriffs say Sandra Flanagan of Kent ran off Oak Orchard River Road shortly before 9:30 p.m.
Her car jumped a guard rail and rolled for about 100 ft.
Deputies say it took more than an hour to rescue her from the heavily wooded embankment she rolled down.
Flanagan was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight. She was released from the hospital Sunday afternoon.
Investigators say both alcohol and speed appear to be contributing factors in the crash.
