Fans are hoping the Red Wings can maintain their winning streak through the playoffs.
It's an energy that's contagious. The excitement from fans when their team is doing remarkably well.
"Big transition from the last seasons that they've had. They've got a great manager right now, he really knows how to make production out of the players," said Jeffrey Barnhart Sr. of Hilton.
After a 7-3 win over the Louisville Bats Saturday, the Rochester Redwings stayed on top with a two game lead over Pawtucket in the International League's north division. The Wings beat the Bats for the second straight night.
"They've been coming along very well and sometimes they win in surprising ways," said Carol Hutchins of Greece.
The Red Wings have come out swinging this season.
"We decided to buy the seats, we've had them for like nine, ten years," said Barnhart.
Fans say at this point, a chance at the playoffs is certainly attainable.
"I think it depends on Minnesota but if we stay in tact I think we can stay in first place," said Hutchins.
The Red Wings have eight more games in this homestand, wrapping up the series with Louisville on Tuesday.
"Just keep hitting the ball that's it, that's baseball, keep hitting the ball, keep catching the ball," said Barnhart.
