Rochester police are investigating two explosions on the city's westside Monday night.
They say the first explosion happened just before 9:30 p.m. on Lyell Avenue.
Officers were sent there for a report of shots fired, but they found a window had been broken out of the Dream Cutz Barbershop, after an explosive device was thrown inside and went off.
Police say there is only minor damage to the barbershop and no one was hurt.
About 25 minutes later police say they responded for a second explosion in the same area, this time on Cameron Street.
Police say an explosive device went off on the porch of a home. No one was hurt and there is only minor damage to the porch.
In both incidents the bomb squad was called in to investigate.
Police do not yet know if there is a connection between the two explosions.
