A former bus monitor accused of sexually abusing a disabled nine-year-old girl pleaded guilty Tuesday to sex abuse and endangerment charges.
Robert Hoff, 61, was arrested in June. Authorities say Hoff worked as a bus monitor for Monroe School Transportation for over two years as a one-on-one aide to the disabled girl who cannot speak.
Police say the bus driver reported seeing Hoff touch the girl inappropriately. Hoff was immediately fired.
As part of his plea agreement, Hoff will spend the next 6 months in prison followed by 10 years post release supervision. He also waived his right to an appeal.
