For the second time this week, a Rochester barbershop was damaged by an explosive device.
Rochester Police say it happened around 1 a.m. at the Dream Cutz Barbershop on Lyell Avenue. Investigators believe the device was made up of a variety of fireworks.
The explosion caused glass damage to the front of the building. No one was inside at the time, and there does not appear to be any structural damage to the building.
On Monday night, police responded to the same location for the report of shots fired. It was later determined that an explosive device was thrown through the front window of the same barbershop, which exploded inside causing some minor damage. No one was hurt in that incident.
Police are asking with anyone with information to come forward.
