A job fair was held Wednesday morning for Bausch and Lomb employees looking for employment following news that Valeant Pharmaceuticals will move Bausch and Lomb's world headquarters from Rochester to New Jersey.
Some 20 Rochester and Finger Lakes companies attended the job fair. Earlier this month, it was announced that hundreds of Bausch and Lomb employees will lose their jobs this winter as Valeant transitions its headquarters to New Jersey.
Valeant says manufacturing and research and development will remain untouched on North Goodman Street.
Additional job fairs are expected to be held for those Bausch and Lomb employees losing their jobs.
