As part of a 25-hour effort for charity, some local high school students spent all night running around a track.
It's an annual fundraiser hosted by the McQuaid Jesuit High School cross-county team.
Teammates run one mile at a time for 25 hours straight. They started Thursday at 11 a.m. and are running until noon today.
This year's proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester.
“We got to pick our own [charity] and we were thinking, we looked back at the past and we thought, you know, we’ve done elderly, we’ve done veterans, we’ve done illnesses, let’s do youth," McQuaid cross-country captain Austin Peters said. "So, we decided to do the Boys and Girls Club because not only is it helping youth, it’s also helping locally in Rochester.”
The men's team went door to door to raise money for the yearly event.
