A store on Rochester's north side was damaged when it was struck by a car. It happened around 8:15 a.m. Monday on Hudson Avenue near the intersection with Pulaski Street.
According to Rochester Police, a car jumped the curb and slammed into the front of the Bani Grocery and Liquor Store.
The driver of the car was not injured and there was no one in the store at the time.
The building did sustain damage. The door, front window and surrounding wall were smashed in.
The fire department called RG&E to check to make sure there was no damage to natural gas lines.
