Family and friends greeted a loved one at the Rochester airport returning from a tour in Afghanistan.
Sergeant Mark Soucy of Webster met his family Friday afternoon for a special homecoming. He's returning from a nine-month tour of Afghanistan serving with the 1st Armored Division as a mortarman out of Fort Bliss.
He's only here for three weeks, and recently re-enlisted for another six years.
"He's a good man. I miss him a lot. It's great having him here. It's gonna be sad to see him go back, but he's a good soldier and it's what he has to do," said Lisa Soucy, mom.
Soucy made the homecoming sweeter by announcing his engagement.
