The Pluta Cancer Center held its 14th annual Emerald Ball Saturday to generate funds for patient programs.
More than 400 people attended the event where they are hoping to raise about $200,000.
Pluta Cancer Center aims to provides compassionate care through a patient-centered approach.
"Everyone is touched by cancer at some point in their lives and it's so important to remember to support the organizations that are on the front line of helping to care for those patients," said Kelly McCormick-Sullivan, Pluta Cancer Center Program Administrator. "Tonight's also very special in that we use this as an opportunity to thank and recognize our staff because as you can imagine, they're at the heart of the care we provide."
The annual gala has raised $3.3 million since it began raising money thirteen years ago.
