The Monroe County Sheriff's Office identified the victim and suspect in a homicide in Henrietta Tuesday morning. They say the two men were brothers.
According to police, Ahmad Mohammad Askar, 28, stabbed his brother Mohamed Ghulam inside a Henrietta restaurant. He's charged with second degree murder.
Sheriff's deputies were called to the Thali of India Restaurant on South Winton Road just before 12 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found Mohammad-Askar in the parking lot covered in blood. He was taken into custody and transported to Strong Hospital.
He was later released from the hospital and arraigned in Henrietta Town Court. He is being held in the Monroe County Jail without bail. He's due back in court on Monday.
