An explosion in the back of a garbage truck led police to a drug arrest in Seneca County.
It began with a complaint filed in the village of Waterloo. Police say they determined the explosive material was picked up at a Thurber Drive residence. Police searched the home and located what they said were materials used to manufacture methamphetamine.
The residents of the home, Jamie Murphy, 37, and Rachelle Murphy, 32, each face felony charges for unlawfully manufacturing methamphetamine. They are also charged with three counts of unlawfully dealing with a child.
Police say the children who lived in the home are being assisted by child protective services.
