The Rochester Broadway Theater League will begin another season in October, and on Wednesday, it offered a preview of what's in store for local fans of Broadway.
A number of high profile productions are coming to the Auditorium Theatre, including "Once", "War Horse" and "Sister Act." The season kicks off Oct. 8 with the stage adaptation of the film "Ghost."
"As always, we have something for families with 'Grinch Who Stole Christmas,' a holiday show, and we're very very excited that this season we'll have the 25th anniversary production of the longest running show in the history of Broadway, 'The Phantom of the Opera,'" said RBTL presenter Albert Nocciolino.
This season marks 30 years that the league has worked with Nocciolino at the Auditorium Theatre.
The new season runs from October through April. The theatre will have an open house starting at 8 a.m. Thursday.
