Patients at Golisano Children's Hospital joined volunteers in sewing their own pillowcases on Tuesday.
On top of that, pillowcases were donated as part of the Miles of Pillowcase Smiles program.
This is the fourth year that ConKerr Cancer has donated to pediatric cancer patients. The program delivered its three thousandth pillowcase on Monday.
"A lot of the other charters of ConKerr Cancer have Sew-In days and they have found that it really helps the children to feel empowered, it breaks up the monotony of the day, it gives them the sense of 'I accomplished this, I did this,'" said Debra Bartz of ConKerr Cancer.
Volunteers were on hand to both celebrate the donation and to help the kids personalize it.
