A man wanted for the murder of his live-in girlfriend in Florida back in the 1990s was arrested Tuesday in the city of Canandaigua.
Rodney Bice, 42, is a current Canandaigua resident. He was arrested on a warrant out of Seminole County Florida.
Bice is accused of killing Jacqueline Sheehan, 31, back in April of 1998. The suspect told police at the time that Sheehan had left their suburban Orlando apartment after a fight.
Her body was found about a week later. She died from trauma to the head and neck.
Police in Florida say the the couple had two young children together.
Bice was arraigned in City Court and is in the Ontario County Jail without bail. Florida authorities say he will be extradited.
