A head-on crash sent two Orleans County women to the hospital Wednesday morning.
It happened just before 8 a.m. in the town of Clarendon. Sheriff's investigators say it happened on Route 31-A near South Manning Road.
Police say a Jeep driven by Randi Lee Johnson, 28, of Albion crossed the center line. She crashed head-on into Lindsey Sherell, 29, of Medina.
Police say Johnson escaped her vehicle just before it burst into flames.
Sherell was trapped for 45 minutes. She was flown by Mercy Flight helicopter to Strong Hospital.
Both women are being treated for serious injuries.
